Please note that previous notice in relation to this application was incorrectly publicised. This notice is therefore to publicise the application correctly. In the meantime additional information in relation to the application has been received so this notice also includes the additional information element.
Notice is hereby given that Dounreay Tri Limited registered under company registration I SC515140 at Ostgbtagatan 100, 11664 Stockholm, Sweden, has applied to the Scottish | Ministers for:
I
? consent under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989;

? declaration under section 36A of the Electricity Act 1989;

? two marine licences under section 20 of the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010; and

? deemed planning permission under section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.

to construct and operate the Dounreay Tri Floating Wind Demonstration Project located at least 6 km off Dounreay, at a site within a total area of 25km2 (central latitude and longitude co-ordinates: 58° 39.093' N, 03° 50.976' W (WGS84)). The installed capacity of theproposed generatingstation wouldbeupto12MWcomprising2wind turbineswith a maximum height of 210 metres above Lowest Astronomical Tide.
Notice is also hereby given that additional information in the form of a statutory response from the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency has been received by the Scottish Ministers. Copies of this information have been forwarded to The Highland Council to be made available for public inspection on the planning register.
Copies of the applications, including plans showing the location, together with a copy of the environmental statement discussing the Dounreay Tri Floating Wind Demonstration Project proposals in more detail and presenting an analysis of the environmental implications, are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at:

Copies of a short non-technical summary are available free of charge.
Requests for copies of the additional information from the Scottish Ministers or any queries about this additional information should be directed in writing by email to ms.marinerenewables@gov.scot or by post to The Scottish Government, Marine Scotland Licensing Operations Team, Marine Laboratory, 375 Victoria Road, Aberdeen, AB11 9DB.
Any subsequent additional information received by the Scottish Ministers before determination of the application, if considered to be materially relevant, will be similarly forwarded to The Highland Council to be placed on the planning register and made available for public inspection. However, no further public notice will be issued.
Any representations in relation to the application or additional information should be made in writing by email to: DounreayTri.Representations@gov.scot or by post to The Scottish Government, Marine Scotland Licensing Operations Team, Marine Laboratory, 375 Victoria Road, Aberdeen, AB11 9DB, identifying the proposal and specifying grounds for objection or support, not later than Friday the 6th January 2017 although Ministers may consider representations received after this date. Representations should be dated and shouldclearlystatethename(inblockcapitals)andthefullreturnemailorpostal address of those making representation.
During the consideration of the proposal, the Scottish Ministers may formally request further information to supplement the environmental statement and this will also be publicised.
As a result of a statutory objection from the relevant planning authority in relation to the deemed planning element (or where the Scottish Ministers decide to exercise their discretion to do so) the Scottish Ministers shall cause a Public Local Inquiry (PLI) to be
held.
Following receipt of all views and representations, the Scottish Ministers will determine the application for consent in one of two ways:
? Consent the proposal, with or without conditions attached; or

? Reject the proposal. All previous representations received in relation to this development remain valid.

Fair Processing Notice
The Scottish Government's Marine Scotland Licensing Operations Team processes applications under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010, the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009andTheElectricityAct1989. Duringtheconsultationprocesswrittenrepresentations can be sent to the Scottish Ministers.
Should the Scottish Ministers call a Public Local Inquiry (PLI) copies of representations will be sent to the Directorate of Planning and Environmental Appeals for the Reporter to consider during the inquiry. These representations will be posted on their website but will not publish your personal data (e.g. your name and address) as this is removed beforehand in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
You can choose to mark your representation as confidential, in which case it will only be consideredbytheScottishMinistersandwillnotbesharedwiththeplanningauthority,the applicant, the Reporter (should a PLI be called) or any other third party.
