Notice is given that Melksham Court have applied for the parts of those premises known as The Banqueting Hall (occupancy 200), The Temple (occupancy 6), The Drawing Room (occupancy 28), and The Dolls House (occupancy 6) to be approved as venues for marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act. 1949 and Section 6 (3A)(a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004. The application is to renew for a further three years an approval that is due to expire on 12th May 2017.
Any objections to the approval of theses premises as suitable venues for the performance of civil marriages and civil partnership registrations under the terms of the Act must be submitted in writing giving ful details of the reasons forthe objection. They should be addressed to the undersigned to arrive within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice. Any objection received will become a public document, and a copy of the objection will be made available to the applicant. Acopy of the plan showing rooms concerned is available for inspection.
