GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 41521 NIND LANE (PARISH OF KINGSWOOD) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to
temporarily close part of the 41521 Nind Lane from outside
the property known as The Long House for a total distance
of approximately 60 metres.
The reason for the closure is to repair a water pipe within
The road is expected to be closed from 20th March 2018 until
22nd March 2018 or until the works have been completed.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH CKD 31) (PARISH OF KINGSWOOD)
DIVERSION ORDER 2018
The above Order made on the 5th March 2018 under Section
119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the
Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, will divert the
length of Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule
hereto to the line described in Part 2 of the said Schedule.
A copy of the Order and plan attached to the Order (the “Order
Plan”) may be seen free of charge during normal office hours
at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street,
Gloucester GL1 2TG and Stroud District Council , Ebley,
Mill, Stroud, GL5 4UB. Copies of the Order and Order Plan
may be obtained free of charge (please quote reference
CKD/31/MBT). Any representations about or objections to the
Order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Lead
Officer, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate
Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG not later than the 12th April 2018.
Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if
any so made are withdrawn, Gloucestershire County Council
may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order
is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for
confirmation, any representations and objections that have
not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
PART 1 Description of site of existing paths That length of
footpath CKD 31 for the Parish of Kingswood that starts
at Highwood Farm at point A on the Order Plan (OSGR) ST
7371/9046 in a south easterly direction for 16 metres and
then in a south south westerly direction for 124 metres to
point B at OSGR ST 7368/9034 and being show by a bold
continuous line and having a width of 1.5 metres. That
length of footpath CKD 31 for the Parish of Kingswood
that starts south of Highwood Farm at point C at OSGR
ST7374/9028 in a south easterly direction for 44 metres
and then in a south westerly direction for 35 metres to point
D on the order plan at OSGR ST 7368/9034 and being
shown on the said plan by a bold continuous line and having
a width of 1.5 metres.
PART 2 Description of site of new paths A length of footpath
that starts at point A in a southeasterly direction for 13 metres
and then in a south south westerly direction for 70 metres and
then in a south westerly direction for 40 metres and then in
a south easterly direction for 33 metres to point B and being
shown by a bold broken line and having a width of 2 metres.
A length of footpath that starts at point C in a southerly
direction for 58 metres to point D and being shown by a bold
broken line and having a width of 2 metres.
The definitive route is obstructed by feed silos and a
biomass building. The diversion will take the path away from
the obstructions and as far as is possible from the poultry
housing to reduce the risk of bio-hazard.
