GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND NO PARKING/NO WAITING RESTRICTIONS OF 3/256 DAMERY LANE, (ALKINGTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council have made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 3/256 Damery Lane from outside the property known as One Acre for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is to install a new water connection.

The road is expected to be closed from 19th June 2018 until 21st June 2018 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershlre.gov.uk There will be no parking or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works. Alternative Route - As signed on site.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 3/227 ST JOHNS ROAD AND CHURCHEND (SLIMBRIDGE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/227 St Johns Road and Churchend from its junction with Moorend Lane to its junction with Longaston Close for a distance of approximately 870 metres.

The reason for the closure is to carry out works to reline existing sewers through manhole

access.

The road is expected to be closed from 25th June 2018 until 6th July 2018 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershlre.gov.uk

Alternative Route - A one way diversion route using Moorend Lane/Lightenbrook Lane and

Longaston Lane/Ryalls Lane and as signed on site.

NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 (PUBLIC FOOTPATH CNN 32) (PARISH OF NORTH NIBLEY) EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2018 The above Order made on the 4th June 2018 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, extinguish the length of Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule hereto. A copy of the Order and plan may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG and Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Stroud, Glos, GL5 4UB. Copies of the Orders and Order Plans may be obtained free of charge (please quote reference CNN/32/MBT). Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Lead Officer, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG not later than the 12th July 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. (Please quote reference CNN/32MBT).

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Gloucestershire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

PART 1 Description of path to be stopped up That length of footpath CNN 32 that runs from bridleway CNN 30 at North Nibley at OSGR ST 7413/9567 in an east north easterly and then south south easterly direction for 220 metres to footpath CNN 64 and CNN 63 at the Tyndale Monument at OSGR ST 7433/9563. Please Note:

This footpath is inaccessible due to a series of landslips and an alternative bridleway and connecting footpath take users to the Tyndale Monument. Dated: 14th June 2018
