ARTICLE 4(1) DIRECTIONS
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that Dacorum Borough Council has made non-immediate Directions under Article 4 (1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (As amended). Development of the descriptions set out in Schedule 1 below should not be carried out on the land described in Schedule 2, unless planning permission is granted on an application made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (As amended) SCHEDULE 1
Class 0 - Development consisting of a change of use of a building and any land within its curtilage from a use falling within Class B1 (a) (offices) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of that Schedule, being development comprised within Class 0 of part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Order. This does not affect development permitted by Schedule 2 Part 3 Class 0 which is expressed to be subject to prior approval where, in relation to that development, the prior approval date occurs before the date on which the Direction comes into effect and the development is completed within a period of 3 years starting with the prior approval date.
The Council proposes that the Direction shall come into force, subject to consideration of any representations received and confirmation by the Council, on 7th January 2020.
Any representations concerning the introduction of the Article 4(1) Directions on the above employment land should be sent to the Council during the period of public consultation commencing on 7 January 2019 until 18 February 2019. These can be sent by email to responses@dacorum.gov.uk, or by post to Strategic Planning and Regeneration Team, Dacorum Borough Council, The Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1DN. All representations must be received by 5:00pm on Monday 18th February 2019. Copies of the Directions and associated maps are available for viewing online at the Council's website http://www.dacorum.gov.uk/home/do-it-online/ consultation-feedback/current-consultation or at the Council's offices at The Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1DN (8:45am until 5:15pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am to 4:45pm Friday).
