On Saturday, March 9, between 10am and 4pm the plans for the reordering of St Peter’s Church, Pilning, will be on view in the church. Everyone is invited to drop in and enjoy a free tea or coffee (and biscuit!) and express their opinions and suggestions. There will also be the opportunity to view the new chair/pew styles.
The restoration of the William Allen Chamber Organ (c1795 the oldest of four surviving in the world) will also be explained.
Youth Service
A Youth Service, organised by the Severnside Churches Group, will takes place on Saturday, March 9 at 7.30pm in St Peter’s church, Pilning. There will be a band, tuck shop and an inspirational talk. Ages 11 to 18 are urged to ‘bring your friends’.
Mothering Sunday
Rev Ann Parker will lead the Mothering Sunday service at St Peter’s, Pilning with the traditional ‘Circling the Mother Church’ activity (Weather permitting). The service is for all ages, mums, dads, grans and grandads with the children are most welcome. Be there at 10am, March 10.
