Pilning Flower Show
JUST a couple of weeks to go to the show at St Peter’s School. Still plenty of time for you gardeners to nurture your vegetables, flowers and fruit. And don’t worry about how big yours are, as all your fellow competitors have had the same weather and late start.
Size isn’t everything, quality, colour and uniformity are just as important. The show programme available from local Post Offices for just 50p will tell you all you need to know about entering these and any of the many other classes.
Now is a good time to be taking photographs to enter in the show, and there are classes for crafts, flower arranging and children’s classes.
On the day of the show there will be tea and light refreshments and the day ends with the auction of produce, all in aid of CLAPA.
