Wortley Farmhouse is a Grade II listed family home which

boasts a wealth of period features throughout, to include;

flagstone floors, inglenook fireplaces and exposed beams.

The house offers flexible well-planned accommodation over three floors. Approached via a gravelled driveway there is convenient access into the Kitchen/breakfast room with traditional bespoke kitchen, AGA and granite worktops on a tiled floor. The kitchen then leads into a lobby and utility room with W/C. The main reception hall is currently used as a dining area and has a wonderful flagstone floor which gives access to a drawing room and sitting room. The drawing room has a large inglenook fireplace with log burning stove and exposed beams throughout. The first floor offers four good sized bedrooms which share two bathrooms. The second floor is a historic converted loft with its original staircase. This is currently used as a master bedroom with en-suite bath room and ample loft storage. Please note this room is classed as a loft and cannot legally be identified as a bedroom despite its current use.

In addition to the main house is a large barn which is split

into four sections. There is an office with kitchenette and

W/C. There is also a store room and separate work shop. To the rear of the barn is a superb holiday let / one bed cottage with garden and patio. This would make an excellent use for ancillary accommodation or, what is currently being used as a holiday let.

Located in the idyllic village of Wortley this farmhouse has

excellent access to amenities close-by in Wotton-Under-Edge and Tetbury. Wotton under Edge (about 1 miles) has a good range of everyday shops and services. Other local towns include Tetbury and Nailsworth. Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Cheltenham and Gloucester are the main regional centres and are all within daily commuting distance.
