Eyford Cottages are to be found in a rural location alongside the B4068 Cheltenham to Stow on the Wold road. The closest village is Upper Slaughter - a small North Cotswold village set on a hillside which rises up towards the old market town of Stow on the Wold 1 miles to the east. Stow on the Wold has an excellent selection of shops supplying everyday requirements together with good business and educational facilities. More extensive shopping, theatres, hospitals and schools are available in Cheltenham (about 22 miles) and Stratford upon Avon (about 18 miles). Regular Intercity and other train services to Oxford, London and Worcester, run from Moreton in Marsh Station (about 5 miles) and Kingham Station (about 6 miles) with fast trains from Kingham reaching Paddington in about 85 minutes.
