Johnny Depp’s publicist has denied claims that the film star stormed off the set of the latest Pirates Of The Caribbean movie to save his marriage to Amber Heard.
The screen stars tied the knot, with celebrations in Los Angeles and on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas, in February.
It had been reported that the actor walked off the set of Dead Men Tell No Tales and was planning to return to the US because of relationship problems.
But publicist Michael Singer told the Brisbane Times: “I can’t go into detail on our filming schedules or the movements of individuals but I can tell you that nothing in that report has any relation to reality.
“Mr Depp has been filming on schedule. It’s business as usual, with all participants working.”
Johnny, 51, has been filming the fifth instalment in the movie franchise on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
He recently angered the authorities in Australia after his pet dogs, Pistol and Boo, were spotted in the country.
The actor agreed to fly them back to the US after he was accused of breaching quarantine regulations by flying the pets into Australia aboard his private jet.
Filming on the new movie was also delayed following Depp’s hand injury.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales also stars Javier Bardem and Orlando Bloom and is expected to be released in July 2017.
