Norwegian pop band A-ha are making a comeback.
The band are set to release its first new material for six years, titled Cast In Steel.
Due for release in September 2015, the new music is not the band’s only milestone this year.
They will be playing at the 30th anniversary of the Rock in Rio festival, which they last performed at in 1991.
Cast In Steel is their 10th album, with their previous release being 2009′s Foot Of The Mountain.
The band will also be touring in the UK and Europe in March 2016.
“I’m definitely looking forward to touring,” says lead singer Morten Harket. “I think it will be great. We will pace it so that the conditions are there for us, but it will be a full-on A-ha experience.”
But he insisted: “We are not getting back to stay together. We’ve agreed to come back for a set period: one album, one tour.”
“It’s a great opportunity and allows us to write another chapter.”
