A PAIR of Prestatyn models have taken to the catwalk during London Fashion Week in a show celebrating the next generation of global fashion talent.

Brother and sister Connor and Alyssa Dean, 11 and 10, have strutted their stuff for the House of iKons at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, in an event that is due to be streamed on Amazon Prime later this year.

As well as being winners of the Belle International Junior Master UK and Junior Miss UK last year, this latest visit to the prestigious bi-annual fashion week saw Ysgol Glan Clwyd Clwyd pupil Connor and Ysgol Y Llys pupil Alyssa perform for the company for the second time.

Darlene Fallorina, Connor and Alyssa's mother, said: "It’s their second time walking in London for the House of iKon - they did the first one last year.

"They didn’t do casting as they normally would have to, and were asked because they’re both experienced.

"They love the experience of walking on the runway with loads of flashing lights and big cameras, but the highlight was the clothes - they both love their outfit they were walking for.

"It was a complete surprise and even I didn’t know what sort of clothes they are going to wear."

Now its sixth year, House of iKons, - which has also held shows in Los Angeles, Beijing and Dubai as well as working with major celebrities such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama and Beyoncé - specialises in providing a platform for emerging designers.

For the February show, both modelled for Dis is Me Couture, while Connor also walked for Ethnic Royal and Be Unique Be You , while Alyssa also showed pieces by Athea Couture.

Connor and Alyssa will next head to Spain in April to compete for international titles at the Royal Sapphire pageant and are busy raising funds for The Sick Children’s Trust Charity.

Ms Fallorina added; "Alyssa loves pageants, modelling and acting so I know she will carry on doing it but not sure about Connor because he loves his football and running too much."
