THIS year, the Berkeley Amateur Dramatic Society (BADS) are performing a panto unlike all the traditional ones such as Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and so on.
We can’t tell you the story because that would really spoil it but even though it is not traditional, it still has the traditional goodies and baddies, handsome young man, pretty young girl and all the other cast you expect in a panto plus, of course, some dreadful and not so dreadful jokes.
There’s lots of opportunity for audience participation – oh yes there is! Performances are on 6, 7 and 8 February, there’s also a matinee at 2.30 on Saturday 8, at the Barn Function Centre at Cattle Country, Berkeley.
Tickets are on sale at the Berkeley Pharmacy and on the door subject to availability but best to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
