OCTOBER half term promises to be jam-packed with fun at Stroud’s Subscription Rooms, which has lined up a three great family events including the newest show from The Gruffalo stage show creators.
Tall Stories, the company behind The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child, present their theatrical story of The Snow Dragon on October 26 at 1pm and 4pm for ages three and up. .
The show tells the story of Billy, a young goat who has everything he could need and is looking forward to the annual visit of the legendary Snow Dragon, who will bring him even more goodies.
But Billy bumps into some hungry wolves in the forest. How will he escape? And has he been naughty or nice?
On October 27 at 11am, The Sub Rooms welcome the UK’s top animal handling show Zoolab aimed at ages 4-12. Join them for a Halloween spell party and conjure up a whole host of creepy crawlies.
And finally on October 27 at 2.30pm, there is a chance for science buffs to enjoy a Spectacular Science Show with astronomer Mark Thompson, direct from the Edinburgh Fringe.
