DIFFERENT cultures converged on Yate during a school fun day marking the end of term.
The ‘break out day’ at Brimsham Green School saw students celebrate a range of cultures from countries around the world.
Assistant head teacher Rachel Edwards said the event last Wednesday (July 17) had offered children a huge range of activities including jewellery making, mask making, African dance, music and cooking.
She added: “ As well as celebrating cultural awareness, the event illustrated the vast range of experiences and learning opportunities that a large secondary school can offer as well as showing what fun we can all have when learning.”
