THORNBURY'S One Stop Shop will operate from the town library starting on Monday.
South Gloucestershire Council's advice service will move permanently to the library on St Mary Street on October 28.
This follows the authority's decision to redeploy all Thornbury staff to its Yate and Kingswood headquarters and rent out its premises on Castle Street.
The One Stop Shop will run as normal from Monday to Wednesday between 8.45am and 5pm and Thursday to Friday between 8.45am and 4.30pm.
A Council spokesman said: "You can still access all the usual services at the new location in the library, which is closer to the High Street in Thornbury’s town centre.
"Locating the One Stop Shop at the library is part of our ongoing accommodation strategy which will see us move out of the council offices in Thornbury as we seek to reduce the number of buildings we have while keeping services in the heart of the community."
Although the advice service will be available, the library area will be closed as usual on Thursdays.
