THORNBURY Golf Centre is staging a wedding fair for the first time - complete with a "man creche" to occupy bridegrooms.
It will take place between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday, February 16.
While the brides-to-be peruse the public pay-and-play centre’s Course View Suite, which is to be made-up in full wedding furnishings, their other-halves are invited to make use of the 25-bay covered and flood-lit driving range, or man creche, where complimentary golf balls will be supplied.
In the luxurious Course View Suite, events staff and in-house wedding co-ordinators from Thornbury – part of BGL Golf, the UK’s leading golf course owner and operator – plus a variety of the Southwest’s leading wedding specialists including photographers, jewellers and make-up artists, will be on hand to assist with any wedding-related queries.
Richard Dakin, Thornbury Golf Centre General Manager, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming guests and showcasing our facilities to those thinking of tying the knot this year.
“Any couples who find the man Creche useful for viewing the venue are more than welcome to make use of it during their wedding too.”
The Course View Suite offers a spacious and elegant surrounding for any event and features its own bar and serving facilities, two private balconies, as well as boasting panoramic views of Thornbury’s two parkland golf courses, the Severn Estuary and the distant Cotswold Hills.
Parking and entry is free on the day.
