TWENTY-eight new, high-value bikes have been stolen from a distribution centre in Yate.
The police are appealing for any information and are asking bike shops and dealers to be on alert.
It happened overnight on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19.
Burglars cut through wire fencing along the railway line to get into the industrial area at Armstrong Way in Yate.
They then climbed on to the roof of Peligap Ltd and broke in through the roof, carrying the bikes in boxes out the same way.
The brand of the bikes that were stolen were mostlyMarin and Mekk.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who has any information, is asked to call South Gloucestershire police on 101 quoting crime reference number 97111/14.
