THE trial of a 24 year old man accused of breaking into a house in Dursley could not go ahead at Gloucester Crown Court because of lack of court time.
Another trial was ahead of Donald Tomlinson's case in the court list today so Judge William Hart formally adjourned the trial until February 16 and sent the defendant, witnesses and lawyers away.
At an earlier hearing Mr Tomlinson, of Midland Road, Gloucester, notified the court he had an alibi defence to the charge that he burgled a house in Roseberry Road, Dursley, and stole of a USB stick between October 3 and 6 last year.
He intends to call witnesses to say he was in Gloucester at the time of the raid.
