POLICE are appealing for information about an attempted burglary at the Post Office in Greenhill Parade in Alveston.
The incident happened at 11.30pm on Sunday, March 8.
The thieves smashed the glass on the main front door and attacked the cigarette cabinet inside, but failed to open it. It is believed they were disturbed and made off empty-handed.
A dark blue Ford Ka with a woman driver was seen in the area at the time. If anyone saw it or anything else suspicious, they are asked to call the police on 101 quoting crime reference number 24070/15.
