POLICE are re-appealing for information following an incident in Cheltenham.
On Friday, March 20, at 7.20pm, a woman was riding her motability scooter along Princess Elizabeth Way towards Orchard Avenue when a man came up behind her and put his arm around her neck.
He shouted abuse at her as he tried to pull her off of the scooter.
The woman managed to kick the man and he fell over and she was able to ride away.
The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, of medium build and aged in his late twenties to early thirties.
He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, with a hood up, and a scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face. He was wearing black jogging bottoms with white stripes and he had rubber like gloves on. Please see the e-fit picture below.
Gloucestershire Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the man. Please call 101 quoting incident number 436 of March 20 2015.
