POLICE in Cheltenham are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy with a learning disability was pushed off his bike and threatened with harm by three youths.
The teenager was riding along the Honeybourne Line cycle path at about 4.30pm last Sunday afternoon (26 April) when he was approached by the three boys. They pushed him off his bike and said they would hurt him with a knife, although no knife was seen.
A couple stopped to help the victim, who suffered a grazed knee in the fall, and walked him home.
The only other information the victim has been able to give is that the offenders are aged 16 to 19 and that the incident happened near to the children's play area.
Police are appealing for witnesses and would also like to trace the couple who helped the victim. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 170 of 27 April 2015.
