POLICE are carrying out an investigation after a three-year-old girl died following a serious road traffic collision in Avonmouth.
A Toyota Yaris and a Mercedes minibus were in collision in Kings Weston Lane at around 9.15am yesterday (April 28).
A woman and two children, who were in the Yaris, were taken to hospital after suffering injuries in the collision.
One of the children, a three-year-old girl, was kept in hospital but died from her injuries last night.
A 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with the collision and he remains in custody for questioning.
