POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Bristol.
The incident took place on May 11 at 3pm outside St Mary Redcliffe Church when a man approached a woman and sexually assaulted her before walking away.
He is described as a black male, well built with a thick neck, no facial hair, approximately six feet tall with short hair as if shaved and growing back. He also spoke with a British accent.
An e-fit of a man police would like to speak to in connection with the incident has been released.
Anyone with information or who was in the area between 2.30pm and 3.15pm on May 11 is asked to call Avon and Somerset police on 101 quoting crime reference number 48706/15.
