TOP players from Bristol Rovers have joined in the celebrations as Yate business opened its new offices.
Powersystems UK, a family run business which has been based in Yate for the past 40 years, opened its new offices on Badminton Road on September 29.
As the away shirt sponsor for the League One side this season, Powersystems invited the team to officially open the new facilities.
Among the visitors from the club were Rovers manager Darrell Clarke, club captain Tom Lockyer and first team player Ollie Clarke, who were given a tour of the building by the company’s managing director Stuart Wilsmore.
Also joining the festivities was Cllr Erica Williams, chairman of South Gloucestershire Council, which is based just over the road.
The honour of cutting the ribbon to mark the official opening was given to the team manager, who shortly afterwards challenged his captain to a table tennis match in the fully equipped gym.
Mr Clarke thanked the company for their sponsorship, adding how impressed he was by the new offices. Cllr Williams also offered praise for providing an excellent working environment for their staff.
