AN ANNUAL charity car wash last Friday in Chipping Sodbury raised £425 for a children’s charity.
Chipping Sodbury Motor Company’s annual charity event, Pudsey’s Car Wash, supported the BBC’s Children In Need charity.
Their principal dealer, David Powell, said: “It was really busy all day. It was a success thanks to the lads who worked flat out washing the cars, John F, John S, Frank and Phil, and to Sue and Julie who baked delicious sausage rolls and cakes for the tray bake.
“We would also like to thank everyone who supported us making donations to this worthwhile cause. Maybe next year we will break the £500 barrier.”
The BBC’s Children In Need has raised more than £600million to change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK.
