Firefighters and police tackle multiple car fire in Cabot Circus car park
EMERGENCY services are currently tackling a car fire in the Cabot Circus shopping centre car park in Bristol.
Firefighters were called out to the incident on the second floor of the car park at 10.39am, which began on one car, but has since spread to three.
Crews from Bedminster and Temple fire stations are currently in attendance, with four firefighters in breathing apparatus using a 45mm jet to extinguish the flames.
Police have closed off Houlton Road, at the end of the M32 motorway, and the car park’s entrance on that side while the incident is contained.
It is believed that the incident started accidentally and there are no reports of any injuries.
