A SCHEME to reduce burglaries in Cam was launched.
The £10,000 project would see Smartwater identification kits handed out to homes deemed most of risk so that if property was to be stolen it could be returned to its owners.
The village was the second settlement in the county to have the scheme rolled-out to by Gloucestershire Constabulary.
RESIDENTS in Dursley were complaining that their sleep was being disturbed by the ringing of church bells in the early hours of the morning.
People living in Silver Street took to social media to raise the issue with the bells at St James Church.
VOLUNTARY police officers responding to a brawl in Cam were assaulted – with one of the officers being knocked unconscious in the attack.
Police responded en masse to the incident.
