HOBBS House Bakery has today celebrated the opening of its second shop in Bristol in as many months.
The company, which is based in Chipping Sodbury, has opened the doors of its new North Street shop in Southville, having recently branching out to Bristol on Gloucester Road in September.
The Herbert family, who run the company set up the first bakery in Down Ampney in 1920, before branching out to Bristol in 1953 – both having since closed.
The new openings bring their number of shops up to six, with Chipping Sodbury, Malmsbury, Tetbury and Nailsworth completing the list.
Henry Herbert, sales director and one half of the Fabulous Baker Brothers, said: “We are really excited to be back home in Bristol and our doors are now open to the public from today onwards.”
