THIS MORNING will be went and windy across the region as a band of rain moves eastwards with heavy downpours.
The rain will clear in the early afternoon with some brighter, cooler conditions to follow, with temperatures set to reach highs of 13°C.
It will be a clear night for many, with one or two isolated showers. Temperatures will fall sharply after dark with a touch of frost in rural areas, as temperatures fall to 1°C.
