EMERGENCY services were called out to Almondsbury early this morning after a car flipped on a narrow country lane.
Emergency services were called out at 5.49am, with the driver being taken to Southmead Hospital by ambulance.
Tri-Force police confirmed that there was only minor injury following the incident on Hortham Lane, and that the car coming the other way had not been hit.
A police 4x4 was brought in to drag the vehicle, which was overturned, to a passing place while they awaited recovery.
If a narrow lane has a national speed limit it doesn't mean you should drive at that speed. Thankfully the car coming the other way wasn't hit. Drive to the conditions. Minor injury. @ASPRoadSafety near to #Almondsbury pic.twitter.com/twWK3dQZpu
