THE play area at Brinsham Park is to be upgraded this month.
The new equipment is set to include an outdoor trampoline, a fort and climbing frame, a sandpit play area, two spinners and a climb through Zingo.
Construction work will begin on Friday, April 20.
Some of the play area will remain open during the construction phase, but there will be a reduction in car parking on site due to contractors requiring space to work from.
The work is expected to be completed by May 4.
Yate Town Council secured £25,370 to improve the park's play facilities earlier this year.
