TWO people have been arrested after a police chase through Frocester, Eastington and Stroud last night.
A blue Audi failed to stop for police officers on the Ebley bypass at about 10.40pm leading a pursuit through the Eastington and Frocester area.
Following the chase, which lasted for about 20 minutes, the car crashed into a ditch in Bath Road.
A police spokesman said that one of the occupants of the car left the scene but was arrested along with another person.
A 22-year-old man from Stroud was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop and a 19-year-old woman from Thornbury was arrested for dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drink or drugs and failing to stop.
Both remain in police custody
