A road in Yate has hosted its annual street party.
The party took place at The Leaze on Saturday, July 7.
The Leaze holds a party every year to celebrate royal occasions, which this year included the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as the birth of Prince Louis.
The street has previously celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday, other royal births and marriages and, in 2014, the 25th anniversary of The Leaze.
Organiser Yvonne Cox said: “We do it to bring everyone together, to welcome new people into the street and just for a feeling of a community spirit.”
The parties are usually attended by half the residents of the street. This year 27 people from nine of the street’s 19 houses were there.
Christmas parties featuring mulled wine, mince pies and festive music are also held on the street.
“The idea is to try and get the street to look very Christmassy and wish each other a happy Christmas,” added Yvonne.
