A boy has been arrested following an attack in Cribbs Causeway.

The 15-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after spraying someone in the face with a corrosive substance.

The incident took place in a car park off Merlin Way, close to the Pizza Express restaurant at about 8.45pm on Saturday, September 1.

The victim, who is 16 years old, has been discharged from hospital but is still undergoing treatment for his injuries.

Speaking at the time of the incident Detective Inspector Richard Marsh, from Avon and Somerset Police, said the victim had 'some serious injuries which may be permanent'.
