The A46 has reopened after a four-vehicle crash near Penssylvania.
The road had been closed in both directions between junction 18 of the M4 and the A420 near Cold Ashton.
The crash involved two cars, a mini-van and a lorry.
Two casualties were taken to hospital and one was assessed at the scene. None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
Crews from Bath and Kingswood fire stations used a hose and environmental pack to clear a fuel spillage.
Avon and Somerset Police, South Western Ambulance Service and Great Western Air Ambulance also attended the incident.
The road is now open in both directions. Traffic may still be slow on the approach but this should ease.
