POLICE have launched an appeal to find the owners of some silver cutlery found dumped in a field near Frampton Mansell on Friday.

The stash, which contains over a dozen pieces of what appears to be antique cutlery is believe to have been stolen.

A police spokesperson tweeted: "This little haul was found in a field near Frampton Mansell.

"We suspect it's dumped stolen property rather than left behind from a picnic.

"Can you help us re-unite it with its owner? #SilverSpoon in no-ones mouth until we do."

Anyone who may have any information should contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 377 of October 12.
