Thornbury Methodist Church
A tea party will be held in Thornbury Methodist Church Hall on Saturday.
Organised by Thornbury and District Make Poverty History Group, the event is celebrating One World Week, an initiative advocating global justice.
This year's theme is The World is Changing – How About Us?
The group will look at the Sustainable Development Goals, drawn up by the United Nations and focus on reducing the use and waste of plastic.
They are also keen to look at activities local groups and organisations can offer and hear thoughts and ideas for changes, big and small, to help secure a sustainable future for the world.
The free event is from 2-4pm.
