That is it! Poldark has officially moved on from Chipping Sodbury.

The hit BBC One show, which debuted in 2014, has been massively popular over the last four years.

So when residents of Chipping Sodbury, Yate and other surrounding areas caught on that the cast were in the area filming, they lined the Ridings Playing Fields in the hope of seeing the stars.

They were not disappointed, with many members of the cast stopping and posing for photos during their stay in the small market town.

It is believed that the show was being filmed at Little Sodbury Manor, Chavenage House and also in Tetbury.

The show follows Captain Ross Poldark, a redcoat who returns from war to 18th century Cornwall to find his life flipped upside down.

Now onto filming its fifth series, the show is expected to be coming to an end at the conclusion of the next instalment.

Aidan Turner, Poldark himself, was seen at the Ridings but did not stop for photos.

However Luke Norris, Harry Richardson, Tom York and Elise Chappell (Dr Enys, Drake, Sam and Morwenna) all stopped to speak to fans.

Now, it is all over though.

The filming crews and trailers have been moved out of the car park at the Ridings, meaning it could be the last time that Turner and his cast mates ever visit the area.
