A FOUR-STOREY apartment block could be built on spare land in Warrington town centre.
Developers are looking to convert the piece of land opposite the Pyramid Arts Centre on the corner of Palmyra Square South and Winmarleigh Street.
The building would include 10 one and two bedroom flats but there would be no space for parking.
A supporting statement to the plans, submitted to Warrington Borough Council, said: "The development proposal is considered to positively make more efficient use
of the site in what is a central and highly sustainable location.
"It would, reflecting its prominent location at the western gateway into Palmyra Square including being opposite the well-used Pyramid Arts Centre, give rise to multiple benefits."
Six of the 10 apartments would be have two bedrooms and the other four would be one-bedroom.
