Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers from across the area came together at the weekend for a science and technology day.
Severnvale Girlguiding hosted the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Day at Thornbury Leisure Centre on Saturday, October 20.
The event was organised to give the girls the chance to experiment, build and highlight that STEM subjects and
careers are for everyone.
More than 100 girls aged from 5-18 attended the event.
A number of companies were in attendance including Renishaw, who brought an electric bike and Airbus, who allowed the girls to experiment with air jets.
Other companies involved included Highways England and Wessex Water.
Trish Johnson, Bridge Master of the Clifton Suspension Bridge was also in attendance to help participants build a model bridge.
