CIRENCESTER Camera Club announced competition results at its meeting on October 8 at the Parish Rooms in Cirencester.

The Set Subject for the first competition of the season was “Isolation”.

Prints and projected images were submitted both for this and the usual Open Subject. A record 30 of the 34 members submitted one or more entry.

The judge was Martin Cooper from Stroud who has judged several club competitions for the Club over the years. He gave some very useful comments on each entry and insights as to how some could be improved. Despite the meeting overrunning for half an hour, all agreed it had been very good. The winners are listed below.

The annual Mop Fair is always a treat for photographers as it is so colourful, and the club members took several excellent photos there the following week. A number of these have already been posted on the Club's Facebook page.
