An overturned car blocked a road into Dursley following an accident this morning.
The accident, which was reported to the police at just after 9am today, Friday, Nov 2, happened on the A4135 between the Steep Hill turnoff (Dursley) and the B4058 (Bowcott).
The road was closed whilst the vehicle was recovered but has since reopened.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that the driver had managed to escape from the crash and did not sustain serious injury.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance service stated: "A female patient was treated at the scene for minor injuries by our paramedics."
