The local impact of the First World War will be explored at the next meeting of Thornbury Local History and Archaeology Society.
A film presentation by Clive Burlton entitled Bristol’s Great War will take place on Tuesday, November 13.
The meeting will take place in St. Mary’s Church Hall, Eastbury Road, Thornbury.
Before the talk begins at 7.30pm the society’s AGM will be held at 7pm and refreshments will then be served.
Visitors can enter for £2.50 and members for free.
