Fire crews were called to Iron Acton overnight
Two elderly residents had to be rescued after a fire in Iron Acton.
The fire brigade attended the incident on Dyer's Lane shortly after midnight this morning (Monday, November 5).
Two crews form Yate and one from Kingswood were at the scene.
The residents were left in the care of the ambulance service.
It is believed the fire was started accidentally as a result of an electrical fault with the underfloor heating system.
