All lanes of the M5 southbound have reopened following a crash involving three vehicles.
Crews from Avonmouth and Patchway fire stations attended the incident between junction 18 and 19.
A large goods vehicle and two cars were involved in the incident.
One male casualty was initially rescued before fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a second.
Both have been taken to hospital.
There are delays of around 45 minutes in the area.
