THOUSANDS flocked to fireworks displays across Gloucestershire in celebration of Guy Fawkes Night.

Firework fans gathered at various locations around the county to marvel at the extravagant displays and remember, remember the fifth of November.

For the last few weeks skies around Dursley, Yate, Sodbury, Wotton under Edge and Thornbury have erupted into colour - there have also been fantastic displays across many other areas of the county.

Some of the most successful displays took place in Thornbury where visitors enjoyed mulled wine and locally sourced hotdogs at the Traditional Fireworks Night.

As well as this, Thornbury residents enjoyed Sparklers and hot chocolate on November 4 whilst they sat round a campfire to celebrate the start of winter.

Fortunately, Stephen Richards attended many of these events to capture the community come together.
