FIRE tore through a barn in Dursley on Sunday evening.
The blaze, at Taits Hill Road, destroyed both the barn and its contents.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called by a member of the public at 8pm on Sunday, November 4, telling us about a barn fire in Taits Hill Road, Dursley.
"The first fire engine arrived at 8.10pm.
"In total, four crews were sent, one from Dursley, one from Wotton-under-Edge, one from Gloucester and one from Cheltenham.
"Two hose jets and two breathing apparatus were used.
"The final fire engine left the scene at 11.17pm."
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
A force spokesman said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious."
