A YOUNG shooting ace from Berkeley is hoping to represent Great Britain in pistol shooting at the Olympics.
And Rednock student Sam Allen is well on the way to fulfilling that dream.
The talented 14-year-old is currently training with the British Shooting Talent Pathway squad, going forwards to the Olympics.
Recently he won a silver medal at the British Shooting Schools Pistol Championships in Wales, and is now heading for the nationals at Stoke Mandeville.
Sam has been shooting and taking part in tetrathlons since he was seven-years-old, with the Berkeley Hunt Pony Club.
Sam's mum Anita said: "The family are very of him.
"Rednock School have been very supportive, allowing him have days off school to compete."
