A long-running model railway exhibition returned to Thornbury at the weekend.
Thornbury and South Gloucestershire model railway club held their 51st annual show at The Chantry, Castle Street.
Railway enthusiasts brought along a number of different layouts along on Saturday, 17 and Sunday, November 18.
Modelling demonstrators, preserved railway societies and a number of traders were also in attendance.
Members of model railway clubs in Sodbury, Swindon and the Forest of Dean put layouts on display at the exhibition.
The layouts covered a wide range or scales, locations and periods, reviving memories of both the steam era and more modern transport.
Local features such as Whitcliff Quarry were represented amongst the layouts.
